In Uganda, IFACE carried out a Scoping Mission in Karamoja District, North-Eastern Region with support provided by IFACE’s Board. The week-long scoping mission conducted in early 2017 was intended to conduct full assessments on the livelihoods, humanitarian and education needs (need assessments for projects) in that part of the country given the challenges in the region, which include inadequate housing conditions, conflict and other hostility. The mission focused on the socio-economic activities, including education and other relevant project needs.
