Michanne joined IFACE in February 2017. Michanne holds a BA (Hons) American Studies and MA International Security and Development from Swansea University. She has completed her PhD thesis at the University of Manchester, focusing on female ex-combatants, their empowerment and reintegration, in the context of United Nations-led Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration Programmes in Liberia and Nepal. Beside her PhD, she has given lectures at the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, and private institutions on the United Nations, security and development, and international relations.
